		<description>Many thanks, Nick, for introducing the FSM into the discussion of the VMs!  Being a native of Kansas, I always enjoy this.   The ID controversy is a rare example of my native state&#039;s briefly outstupiding my adopted state - and that really takes some stupid!  

It does seem to me that the resemblance is loose.  His Noodliness&#039; eyes appear to have problems, and there are three meatballs rather than two.  Perhaps he was thought to be somewhat more masculine?  

The people of the time of the VMs would have been even less amused by the FSM than those nowdays, so yes, the use of cipher is entirely plausible!

I vote for sauce.</description>
